Livermore, CA – December 6th, 2011 Landmark Mortgage Group held its second Toys for Tots drive, in conjunction with the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department at the historic Vine Cinema in downtown Livermore on December 3rd. Over 100 community guests were treated to a free private showing of the holiday favorite movie, Elf. Families were given a Christmas ornament and provided a photo opportunity with representatives from the fire department.

"The community plays such an important part in our business and contributing towards the Toys for Tots program gives Landmark a chance to give back," said Todd Allen, Landmark co-founder. We thank our wonderful guests for contributing to this drive and brightening the holiday season for many families in need."

Toys for Tots was founded in 1947 and has worked hand in hand with the U.S. Marines Corps. Together, over the past 60 years they have collected and distributed 400 million toys to some 188 million children across the nation.

Landmark will continue to accept new, unwrapped toys for children ages 2-12 at their 5075 Hopyard, suite 130 Pleasanton or 1859 First Street Livermore offices through December 15th. LIVERMORE, CA, Dec. 15th, 2010 -- In an effort to help make the holiday season brighter for disadvantaged families, East Bay mortgage banker, Landmark Mortgage Group, in conjunction with the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department, recently spearheaded a Toys for Tots drive at the historic Vine Cinema in downtown Livermore. Nearly 200 community guests attended and were treated to a private showing of The Polar Express, given Christmas tree ornaments and provided with photo opportunities with representatives from the fire department in return for their generous donations.

"Our wonderful guests filled several large boxes with new toys that we know will bring much happiness to many families in need during this holiday season," added event-organizer and Landmark co-founder, Tony Russo. "The fire department and The Vine Cinema were a great help in making this happen."

The goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy children that will teach them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders. The organization strives to unite all members of local communities in a common cause during the final three months of each year through toy collection drives in order to contribute to stronger communities in the future.
